Here at Bespoke of Cartmel we can offer you a range of options to complete your building as you wish. However, if you have any requirements or suggestions not listed your ideas are more than welcome – after all, it is your building.
The photograph above shows a 24ft x 12ft mobile field shelter kitted out with an optional internal tack room at 6ft x 12ft. The door is a single skin tongue and groove door fitted with heavy duty hinges and door bolt.
All our equestrian and domestic buildings (garages, workshops, etc.) are built using the same materials and constructed to the same high standards we pride ourselves on. The industry standard size for the lower half of a stable door is 4ft x 4ft, all our stable doors come complete with a anti-chew strip 4 Heavy-duty door bolts, kickover latch and exterior grade plywood kickboards on the reverse of the door. The top half of the stable door measures 3ft x 4ft resulting in a total opening size of 7ft x 4ft. The top door is also supplied with another heavy-duty door bolt. The doors and windows on our buildings are built to the same high standards of the buildings themselves. The windows are 3ft x 3ft in size and are made of treated wood. They consist of a sliding ventilator arrangement in the bottom two thirds of the window with a perspex glass making up the top section.
We also offer horizontal cladding, which is an alternative to double vertical overlap cladding displayed in many photos throughout the brochure. Mostly “shiplap” cladding is used, We have however, used a variation of horizontal cladding materials depending upon what was required. Post and rail fencing is also available to accompany any existing paddock or field area you may have. The fencing shown in the photo is made up of half round rails (all other types available) and has wire mesh for extra security.
Our doors and windows (featured in the specifications on stables section) are also available as stand alone items, these are produced to the standard size previously listed but can be manufactured to any particular size if required. Fitting service of these and many other items also available.
